Dre Durand s'intéresse au vieillissement prématuré associé à l'activation soutenue du système immunitaire dans l'infection chronique par le VIH, avec un intérêt marqué pour la santé cardiovasculaire. Elle s'intéresse également à l'utilisation secondaire des données en santé pour l'évaluation des effets adverses des médicaments.
