Language Requirements
- Many non-native French speakers develop a high-level of French proficiency during their studies at ESPUM
- Upon admission, an evaluation will determine if you should take additional language classes
- Several professors allow students to submit their essays and theses in English
- You must also have a basic proficiency in English reading
ESPUM helps students improve their French and English skills by offering linguistic support adapted to their needs.
Once they’re admitted, students take tests to assess their needs and help them find the appropriate resources to develop their language skills.
During their training, students take courses in French, with readings in both French and English. They have the option of submitting their assignments in French or in English. By the end of their studies, our students are comfortable working in a professional setting that requires knowledge both French and English—a huge asset for their career!
